WEBINAR: Ministry veteran Mike Patin on "When Hawkeye Pierce met Jackie Chan", May 13, 11AM PDT
The last NACYML webinar of the program year, which will feature Mike Patin is almost upon us. I can say that I have personally enjoyed his style AND substance because I witnessed his keynote at NCCYM awhile back and because I have listened in the car to a parish mission he led that is available on CD. See, there are good things about an hour long commute!
Please see below a description of the content and a little bit about Mike Patin.
For registration information, please go the flyer. Registration deadline is May 5, 2010.
Webinar Description
There can be a lot of conflict and negativity in ministry.
And we’re supposed to be the “nice” people. How do we
handle rough situations a little better? Let’s take a
humorous look at what we do, and what people expect of
us. Then, let’s look at strategies to deal with these
expectations in a healthier way.
About Mike Patin
Mike Patin uses energy, humor and stories to affirm the
goodness of God's presence among us while inviting others
(and himself) to take the "next step" in our journey with
God. Mike is a trained facilitator for Stephen Covey’s 7
Habits of Highly Effective People . He holds a Masters degree
in Pastoral Studies from Loyola University of the South in
New Orleans.
